06:25 – Arrives at the Belize International Airport
07:45 – Wheels up for flight from Belize International Airport to Flores, Guatemala
08:30 – Flight lands in Flores, Petén, Guatemala – flight time is 0:45 hours with the tail wind

09:00 – Departure from Flores, Petén, Guatemala for Tikal – a total of 63 Km
10:00 – Arrive at Tikal – transit time is 60 minutes
10:00 to 13:00 – Tour of Tikal
13:00 to 14:00 – Lunch

NB – The restaurant more than likely belongs to the tour operator.  Prior guests have complained about the food at El Meson Restaurant which belongs to one of the tour operators.  They have reported that the service is quick, portions are very small and the food not quite up to mark.

14:00 – Bus returns guests from Tikal back to the airport at Flores – a total of 63 Km
15:00 – Bus arrives at the airport in Flores, Petén, Guatemala
16:15 – Wheels up for flight from Flores to Belize International Airport
17:15 – Arrival at Belize International Airport
17:40 – Depart from Belize International Airport to Radisson Fort George Marina
18:00 – Arrive at the Radisson Fort George Marina

NOTES:
I would recommend printing up immigration embarkation cards and customs declaration forms for everyone going to Flores as this can be very time consuming and it will be needed upon return to Belize and departure thereafter.
Mosquitos can sometimes be a problem.  Ensure to take with you:-

  3. long sleeved pants
  4. long sleeved blouse
  5. Sturdy footgear for walking
  6. Sunscreen
  7. Water
  8. Insect repellant
  9. Camera
