On the website details of nationalities requiring visa for Belize can be found.

In the case of yachts, Belizean visa applications are broken down into two sections:-

  1. Visa for persons arriving aboard the yacht.
  2. Visa for guests/crew who will be arriving into Belize by air.

In 2011 and now again in 2013 the Immigration Department made a complete overhaul in their visa application procedures and the issuance of visas in Belize is not done as quickly as before.  The return of passport for the applicant may take as long as three days.
