For those smaller yachts Ventura Yacht Agency offers the service of preparing your departure documentation and emailing them to you, only for you to print, sign and present to officials. If interested you can contact ventura@btl.net.
If Ventura is your agent please email them once you know when you will be departing and inform them of the following:- — {mprestriction ids=”1″}
An updated crew list
Passenger list if passengers will be departing with the yacht
Date and time you would like to sail
Which port you will be departing from
With the above Ventura Yacht Agency will then prepare all outbound documentation and make the necessary arrangements for departure as per your email. There is no need for any officials to go aboard to complete your outbound clearance.
For outbound clearance out of SAN PEDRO
Ventura Yacht Agency can fly out to San Pedro and do your outbound clearance, of course there will be the added expense for the flight, etc.
Once there to do the final outbound clearance Ventura will need to physically collect from you
Passports
“Ships Report” document which was given to you by customs when you cleared in.
Thereafter the procedures can be done ashore by Ventura. We would need about 60 minutes to visit the various departments, get passports stamped, obtain clearance and have passports and clearance delivered back to you.
Should incase customs kept your arms and ammunition for safekeeping when you cleared in then yes we would need to make arrangements for a customs officer deliver them back aboard.
