A portion of the island has white sandy beaches, which are washed by crystal clear waters that just beg you to jump in.  There is also excellent snorkeling, swimming, good fishing and the nearby barrier reef also offers some good diving.

Residents on and around the island that there are a few boobies as well as dolphins.  There are a several very small, rustic cabanas on the island, which caters to guests who spend a couple of days there and besides that guests who arrive there for day trip from Roberts Grove.  Then there is also a full time caretaker for the island.

The yachts just love hanging out at Ranguana Caye.  There is a US$10.00 per person cover charge, but this is a place the yachts prefer.  Dive guide is mandatory here.  You can get away with the use of the jet skies.

From anchoring in this area you can do Queens Caye and the chain of islands down to Ranguana and even more south.  Tons of diving and snorkeling to be done.  Fantastic place to swim with turtles.  This area is a blast.

Ranguana Caye consistently produces some of the largest bonefish in all of Belize, so, if you’re dreaming of a 10-pound bone, you’ll definitely see a few of them here.

You can stand on the beach and watch wave after wave of bonefish and jacks coming in to feed on the abundant schools of bait-fish that live in the shallows around the island.

Toys can be put into the water here.  Anchorage can be a bit rolly here as it is relatively exposed.
