This information is more for the smaller yachts as I know the larger yachts don’t normally need this service. —
In Belize City, Belize Dry Cleaners offers a number of services, which are, but of first class and which we highly recommend.
Services they currently offer are:-
Dry Cleaning
Wash – dry and folding
US$5.12 for 1 to 8 lbs
US$0.65 per lb for 9 to 14 lbs (inclusive of 12½% GST)
US$0.60 per lb for 15 lbs and over (inclusive of 12½% GST)
Pressing is available at an addition cost which is charged on a per piece basis depending on what piece it is.
At their location No. 3 Dolphin Street they also have a section where you can go and personally do your laundry if you so wish.
For a fair amount of laundry they also do offer the service of picking up the laundry at the dock and dropping it off the following day. If you would like for them to do any pressing please make sure to inform them as normally they will only wash, dry and fold.
As per our telephone conversation, listed below are the services you queried about;
Drop Off Laundry:
Wash-Press- Fold is $ 1.55 per pound (Any and all linens that do not require Dry Cleaning or are of delicate material)
